Description
Specimen consists of transected bladder and uterus. The lumen of the bladder contains recent blood
clot and there is widespread ulceration of the surface mucosa. The wall of the bladder is thickened
and extensively infiltrated by carcinoma. The tumour extends into the lower uterine segment which
is firmly adherent to the external surface of the bladder. Histologic examination showed the tumour
to be a high grade transitional cell carcinoma.
